I was in Yokohama recently for lunch. The sun was shining, and the city was bustling along as usual. I had the good fortune to stumble on to an advertisement for the smorgasbord lunch offered by Yokohama Cruise Cruise on the 27th level of the Sky Building at Yokohama Station. 
Although the food was absolutely delightful, the real highlight of the day was the plates they have there.
The plates are divided into 9 separate sections, and prevent the different dishes from blending with each other.
Yet, another original idea that will no doubt turn up everywhere else soon enough.
